Anonymous vs Transparent

Every session is created in one of two modes, and the choice is visible to everyone before they vote — it's part of the session line at the top of the room.

Anonymous

Nobody can see who voted what — before or after the session, and that includes the organizer. In the results table each ballot appears as its own row, labeled with a color-and-code tag instead of a name; chat messages likewise carry a color tag. Everyone can verify that the right number of ballots was counted without learning whose is whose.

Transparent

Everyone sees who voted what, in real time. Each participant picks a display name when joining, and their ballot row and chat messages appear under it. Use it where accountability matters more than privacy — boards, public committees, retrospectives.

In both modes

The organizer has no special visibility — they see exactly what every participant sees. And in both modes the ballot contents are encrypted on your device before they're sent, so the service itself can't read them either way (see how vote privacy works).
